Uni Crew Volunteer Request Form

To request support from student volunteers at an event or activity, fill out your details below.

All Uni Crew Volunteers are registered members of the University of Newcastle Student Volunteers program and have completed a WH&S Module. Volunteers come from a variety of Colleges, campuses, age groups and areas of interest.

Volunteer opportunities are open to the whole volunteering cohort unless specific qualifications are required (e.g., RSA, photographer).

All volunteer requests are reviewed, and if further information is required you will be contacted. Confirmation will be sent once your request has been made available to the Uni Crew Volunteer group.

Uni Crew Volunteers are NOT a substitute for a paid employee. All requests will be checked to ensure they do not contravene the requirements of the Fair work Act.
Whilst we do our best to recruit volunteers, this is not always possible (e.g., timing during semester, etc.). We will make note of this in correspondence relating to your request.
Uni Crew Volunteers need to be engaged in meaningful activities and tasks that contribute to overall skill development.
Volunteers must be supervised for the duration of their shift/activity.
