Supporting Documents (in PDF or Word Format)
- Official academic transcript or evidence of your highest completed qualification
- Evidence of English language proficiency (as per University policy)
- Copy of your passport (photo page)
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Students are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.0/4.0 or equivalent.
- Students need to satisfy the University’s minimum English Language Proficiency Requirements.
- Students must be nominated by their home university (Exchange Only)
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Stage One – Application
Complete all relevant sections of this application form and attach copies of the following supporting documents:
- Official transcript of your current student record or highest qualification obtained
- Evidence of English proficiency (as per University policy)
- Copy of your passport
Stage 2 – Offer
The University of Newcastle will review your application and contact you via email. If successful, you will receive an Offer of Admission to the program, which must be signed to finalise your application.
Stage 3 – Deposit
To secure your place, pay the minimum deposit or the full program fee within 7 days of receiving your offer:
- Summer Down Under Program (Exchange) – 1 Course – Deposit = A$699
- Summer Down Under Program (10 Units) – 1 Course – Deposit = A$699
- Summer Down Under Program (20 Units) – 2 Courses – Deposit = A$899

Stage 4 – Admission to the Program
Once your signed offer and deposit are received, you will be matriculated into the Summer Down Under Program.
- If you have specified your intended course(s), the University will enrol you once enrolment opens.
- If your course selection is still undecided, you will receive instructions later on how to complete your enrolment.
