The Expo

The Expo will run from 12pm to 2pm, and over 35 employers, professional associations and clubs will be holding stalls at the Expo. Wander through at your own pace and chat to the organisations that interest you. 11am – 12pm | Alumni Panel and Q&A

Hear from a panel of University of Newcastle Allied Health Alumni about their journey from student to successful professional. They will share the lessons they have learnt as they have progressed their careers from their first graduate role to successful business owners of private practices in the Newcastle region.

1.30pm – 2.30pm | Starting Your Own Business in the Allied Health Sector

Join local organisation and start-up experts, The Business Centre, as they give insight in to the world of starting your own business in the Allied Health sector. Learn about some of the challenges you may face in the early years and how to overcome them.

1.30pm – 2.30pm | Hunter Prelude Employer Session

Hunter Prelude is a not-for-profit children's charity that provides early childhood intervention and therapy supports to children living with disabilities and their families throughout the Hunter. Join this session to learn the 101's of best practice early childhood intervention and why the early years are pivotal in empowering families and communities to help their children.
