Nominations are now open for the 2026 Employability Excellence Awards.
The awards celebrate students who are building their skills, applying what they have learned and creating an impact through real-world experiences.
The Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognises a student who has launched a startup, built a business or turned an enterprising idea into action. Whether the idea is gaining momentum or already making an impact, this is an opportunity to recognise the creativity, initiative and persistence behind it.
You can nominate yourself or another student whose contribution deserves recognition. You could also recognise a staff member, an industry partner, or a community partner who has supported student development. This could be someone who created a placement, provided mentoring, built an industry connection or opened the door to a new opportunity.
Nominations close at midnight on Friday 2 October 2026 (AEST).
